DESCRIPTION:Healing Mass – July 2026\nThis evening at 6:30 in the Basilica\, we will have a Healing Mass with Fr. John Adams. Music Ministry: Sr. Joanna\n \nFr. John Adams grew up in Duquesne\, PA (in the Pittsburgh area). \nHe attended Pennsylvania State University as an undergraduate and majored in elementary and special education. He obtained his Master of Arts degree and his Ph.D. in counseling psychology at the University of California\, Los Angeles (UCLA). Fr. John is a licensed psychologist and a certified school psychologist who has been involved with research and practice involving Deaf\, hard of hearing\, and hearing\, and those with developmental disabilities involving individuals and their families for over 45 years. He is fluent in sign language. \nWithin the Buffalo\, his home parish was St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Farnham\, NY where he was the Director of Spiritual Life and a member of several ministries. He graduated from Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora\, NY where he obtained a Master of Divinity. Fr. John was ordained as a Roman Catholic Priest on June 7\, 2014\, for the Diocese of Buffalo. In his first years as a priest\, he was a parochial vicar at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Hamburg\, NY. He was then named as Temporary Administrator of St. Maximilian Parish in Corfu/East Pembroke. He was then assigned to Christ the King Seminary as an Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology and Assistant Director of Priestly Formation and eventual Vice President of Human Development and Mission Enrichment. Following the closure of the Seminary\, he became the pastor and the rector of the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels and the pastor of St. John’s parish in Olean\, NY. His current assignment is the senior parochial vicar in the Catholic Family of Cheektowaga and the Coordinator of Healing Ministry for the Diocese of Buffalo. \nFr. John is also a licensed psychologist and a certified school psychologist who has been involved with research and practice involving Deaf\, hard of hearing\, and those with developmental disabilities involving individuals and their families for over 45 years. Albino’s Vocation Story of a Barnabite \nThere are many signs/ways of vocation to the priesthood\, these could be objects that are sacred\, people\, situations\, occasions\, feelings\, places\, etc. We should be attentive or be opened to these things. \nMy desire to become a priest started in my childhood years\, it probably started when I was 8 years old and remained intact until I was grown up. As a little boy I always kept thinking that one day I would be at the altar during Mass\, serving as an altar boy or I am the one celebrating the Mass. I believed that would be the happiest experience if this dream comes true. \nWhy Barnabite and not the other Congregation? \nTo be honest I had no idea about the Barnabites nor had any ideas about religious congregations\, what I had known was only about priests\, like our Diocese priests. I never heard about the Clerics Regular of St. Paul known as Barnabites. I become a Barnabite student from my formation years and now a Priest because God chose me and put me into this religious order of the Holy Mother Church (Catholic Church) as Her Divine Founder Jesus said\, “it was not you who chose me\, it was I who chose you to go forth and bear fruit. Your fruit must endure…” (Jn. 15:16 NAB) \nGod used people in choosing me for the Barnabite Order\, Isabel\, the Mother of a former Barnabite Seminarian and Brother Joseph Bernales. They were God’s human instruments why I landed at this Religious Congregation of the Clerics Regular of St. Paul (Barnabite Fathers and Brother). It was her who bridged me to her son Joseph and Joseph to this congregation. This was God’s way of putting me in this Religious Zaccarian Family and in 2002 I joined the Seminary. I professed my First simple profession in 2008\, I was accepted to the Final profession in 2013\, ordained Deacon a week later\, and was Ordained Priest on February 18\, 2014. To be a Barnabite is not my choice but God’s choice. I trusted and accepted God’s choice for me to serve Him in this Religious Order and contribute with God’s grace fruits for the good of the Church and glorify our heavenly Father. \nBeing a Barnabite is God’s precious gift given not only for the chosen person but above all for the Holy Mother Church. \nFr. DESCRIPTION:Healing Mass – November 2\, 2025\nFatima Shrine Basilica at 6:30 pm \n \nFr. Bill Quinlivan is Pastor of St. Martin of Tours and St. Thomas Aquinas Parishes\, Buffalo\, NY and former Pastor of Blessed Sacrament Parish\, Tonawanda\, NY\, where he offered monthly Healing Masses.  Fr. Bill enjoys music ministry\, and has recorded a number of CDs of original songs.  He was an original member of the Voices of Mercy from St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy\, Buffalo\, NY where he is a Priest Associate.  He has been featured on EWTN’s “Dana and Friends” and provided music for priest retreats in Ireland and elsewhere.  Fr. Bill first joined the Healing Mass ministry here in 1997\, and it is always a great pleasure to have Fr. Bill back at Fatima Shrine to share his healing ministry with us.

David Tourville is the Parochial Vicar of St. Mary of the Angels\, Olean\, NY.  Ordained a priest on August 8\, 2009\, Fr. David received his BA in Philosophy at Canisius College\, and Masters of Divinity at Christ the King Seminary\, East Aurora\, NY.  In the early 90’s\, Fr. David had a conversion experience\, which led him back to the Church after being away for nearly 20 years.  Since his Ordination\, he has had two callings from the Holy Spirit:  to speak about God\, Our Father and to make Him more known and loved\, and to celebrate Healing Masses.  We count ourselves blessed to have Fr. DESCRIPTION:Fr. Richard DiGiulio\, ordained in 1969\, served in many parishes throughout western NY as Parochial Vicar\, and later Pastor. His last assignments included St. Francis of Assisi\, Buffalo\, NY and St. Bernadette\, Orchard Park\, NY before his retirement in December 2010.  Fr. Richard has been involved in Charismatic Renewal and the Healing Ministry for many years.  He was Director of the Office of Charismatic Renewal for the Buffalo Diocese\, serving in that capacity since 1998.  Father has offered many healing Masses here at Fatima Shrine\, and we are so excited to have him back again to share this very important ministry with us. Make plans to be here August 3\, 2025 at 6:30 pm in the Basilica.
