His last assignments included St. Francis of Assisi\, Buffalo\, NY and St. Bernadette\, Orchard Park\, NY before his retirement in December 2010. Fr. Richard has been involved in \nCharismatic Renewal and the Healing Ministry for many years. He was Director of the Office of Charismatic Renewal for the Buffalo Diocese\, serving in that capacity since 1998. DESCRIPTION:HEALING MASS \nJune 5\, 2022 at 6:30pm \nIn Basilica \n  \nFr. Richard Poblocki\, retired priest of the Buffalo Diocese\, was ordained in 1983. He served as an assistant priest at St. Philip the Apostle Parish (from 1983-87) and Resurrection Church (1987-1993)\, in Cheektowaga\, NY. After serving as an assistant at Queen of Heaven\, West Seneca\, NY\, Fr. Rick was appointed pastor of Sacred Heart Church\, Portville\, NY and St. Mary’s Church\, Bolivar\, NY (1993-1997). Appointed to Queen of Peace Parish (1998-2007)\, Buffalo\, NY and Holy Name of Jesus Parish (2005-2007) he served these communities until their closing in 2007 under the “Journey in Faith and Grace.” In 2009\, Fr. Rick became Pastor at St. Josaphat Church\, Cheektowaga\, NY. Father’s interests lie in the study of the Saints and mystical experience. He enjoys spending time with family and friends – and outside of that\, jokes that he has “no life.” We are absolutely delighted to have Fr. DESCRIPTION:Pope Francis has asked all bishops\, indeed the whole Church\, to unite with him in prayer on March 25\, 2022 at about Noon to consecrate the whole world\, especially Russia and Ukraine\, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Bishop Michael will accomplish this consecration at St. Joseph’s Cathedral during the 12:00 Mass.  For those who cannot go to Buffalo we will prayerfully recite the Consecration after the 11:30 am Mass before the praying of the Stations of the Cross.

SUMMARY:Prayer Vigil For Peace
DESCRIPTION:At Fatima\, Mary asked us to pray for the conversion of sinners and for peace. \nIn light of the Russian invasion of Ukraine\, upon the invitation of the Holy Father\, Pope Francis\, we will host a prayer vigil on Saturday March 5\, 2022\, from 7 pm to 11 pm.  There will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament\, praying of the Rosary at the beginning of each hour as well as readings from Scripture and Teachings of the Church.  It will be a time of prayer and reflection for peace not only for the people suffering in Ukraine but also for the whole world.
