Bill Quinlivan is Pastor of St. Martin of Tours and St. Thomas Aquinas Parishes\, Buffalo\, NY and former Pastor of Blessed Sacrament Parish\, Tonawanda\, NY\, where he offered monthly Healing Masses.  Fr. Bill enjoys music ministry\, and has recorded a number of CDs of original songs.  He was an original member of the Voices of Mercy from St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy\, Buffalo\, NY where he is a Priest Associate.  He has been featured on EWTN’s “Dana and Friends” and provided music for priest retreats in Ireland and elsewhere.  Fr. Bill first joined the Healing Mass ministry here in 1997\, and it is always a great pleasure to have Fr. Bill back at Fatima Shrine to share his healing ministry with us.

DESCRIPTION:Here at the Fatima Shrine\, we will commemorate the Anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun\, with a special 7:00 pm Mass followed by a Candlelight Rosary Procession\, and all are welcome to join us in honoring Our Lady of Fatima on this most blessed day. \n\nOn October 13\, 1917\, the Blessed Virgin Mary fulfilled her promise to the three children of Fatima\, appearing for the final time in a manifestation that would become known as the Miracle of the Sun. Before an estimated 70\,000+ witnesses gathered in the Cova da Iria\, the sun appeared to dance\, spin\, and plunge toward the earth in a spectacular celestial display that defied natural explanation. This extraordinary sign\, witnessed by believers and skeptics alike\, served as divine authentication of Our Lady’s messages of prayer\, penance\, and conversion\, establishing Fatima as one of the Church’s most significant approved apparitions and a cornerstone of modern Marian devotion.

The growing crowds and intense scrutiny from both religious and civil authorities had not deterred the faithful\, who sensed they were witnessing something extraordinary that would echo through the ages. \nDuring this September encounter\, Our Lady continued to emphasize the central themes that would define the Fatima message: the necessity of prayer\, penance\, and devotion to her Immaculate Heart for the conversion of sinners and peace in the world. She specifically requested the daily recitation of the Rosary and reinforced her earlier calls for sacrificial love offered for the salvation of souls. The children reported that Mary appeared sad as she spoke of the many souls who fall into hell because no one prays or makes sacrifices for them. This maternal sorrow of the Mother of God serves as a profound reminder of the spiritual battle being waged for every human soul and the role that faithful Catholics are called to play in this cosmic drama of salvation. \nThe fifth apparition serves as a bridge between the initial revelations and the promised great miracle of October 13th\, which would become known as the Miracle of the Sun. Mary’s promise to perform a sign that all could see demonstrates Divine Providence’s desire to reach not only the hearts of the faithful but also to provide tangible evidence for those struggling with doubt. This apparition reminds us that God respects both faith and reason\, offering supernatural confirmation of His messages while never forcing belief. David Tourville is the Parochial Vicar of St. Mary of the Angels\, Olean\, NY.  Ordained a priest on August 8\, 2009\, Fr. David received his BA in Philosophy at Canisius College\, and Masters of Divinity at Christ the King Seminary\, East Aurora\, NY.  In the early 90’s\, Fr. David had a conversion experience\, which led him back to the Church after being away for nearly 20 years.  Since his Ordination\, he has had two callings from the Holy Spirit:  to speak about God\, Our Father and to make Him more known and loved\, and to celebrate Healing Masses.  We count ourselves blessed to have Fr.
